Network+ Question of the day: What is wrong in the figure? (see answer below and video response.)

Answer

The problem in the figure is that the 4 and 5 pins are reversed. According to the 568B standard they should be blue then white/blue. The way it is wired in the figure is white/blue, blue, which means the connection will not work properly.
